Waspsand bees share a few important characteristics that make them similar in a lot of ways but one isn’t to be mistaken for the other. Wasps and bees are entirely different insects with many distinct characteristics and habits. Both insects posses a stinger at the end of their abdomen and neither will hesitate to use it for defense if threatened but most species of bees will only sting when necessary for self defense yet ironically once the bee does sting, its stinger is left in the victim and the bee then dies. The wasp on the other hand will sting its prey over and over again. It can paralyze other insects and is considered theexterminatorof the insect world.
